Market Update

Bond rates bottomed out on Feb. 2nd. and since then, they have moved up marginally.

Fixed rates continue at record lows.

5 year rates are in the 2.69-2.89% range.

Variable rate mortgages are in the 2.15-2.35% range.

Bank prime is at 2.85%. There is lots of speculation the Bank of Canada will lower their rate again in March.
Next meeting with the Bank of Canada is March 4th, 2015

P.S. If you, your family, or co-workers require guidance on current market trends, please call me, I am always available to help.
